Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shain, Sr., of Hobart, a brother, Andrew Shain, Jr. at home; paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Carson Shain, maternal grandmother, Katheryn Trogden, and a great-grandmother, Zona Smith, all of Owensboro.
Services at Assembly of God Church, Hobart. Burial in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.∼Death certificate shows he was married at the time of his death. Spouse listed as Shelley Granzow, and that he was in the U.S. Naval Reserves.
