He was born on Wednesday, August 19, 1931 in Fayette City, Pa., the son of Edgar J. Hall and Florence (Louce) Hall.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Chisler) Hall; a brother, Warren Hall; sisters, Audrey McCrory, Vera Popovich, Dorma Hall and Gywytha Montgomery.
Barry was retired from Hilllman Barge.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was a lifetime member of The National Rifle Association (NRA), Brownsville Sportsmen's Club, and Star Junction Fish and Game Club.
Barry was a well-rounded man who was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Fly Fishing, Bass Fishing, and Turtle Jugging.
Barry enjoyed his deer and grouse hunting but had a special affection for his Beagles and rabbit hunting.
Barry appreciated the arts with his exemplary dancing and singing ability.
He is loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by the love of his life of 32 years Rosemary Goodwin of Cardale, Pa.; his son, Barry Hall of Uniontown, Pa.; Rosemary's children whom he thought of as his own: Kenneth Dillow of Connellsville, Pa., Patricia Grubbs of Connellsville, Pa., and Betty Jean Redman of Cardale, Pa.; 13 grand children and 21 great grandchildren; a brother, Mherling 'Pete' Hall and wife Jean of Arizona; many special extended family and friends.
Friends will be received at REPUBLIC VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY SOCIAL HALL, 216 Republic Road, Republic, Pa., on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be private.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., One Legion Street, Republic, Pennsylvania.
