Funeral services for Betty Stanaland, 81, of Meigs will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Providence Church. Eric Tinsley will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Tinsley, Alan Taylor, Waylon Griner, Steve Cain, Robby Griner, Mike Griner and Jeff Hunter.
Born January 5, 1941 in Thomas County she was the daughter of the late Vonnie John and Verde Belle Tinsley. Mrs. Stanaland passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She was retired from the State of Georgia with Greenoak Center.
Survivors include her husband, 4 children , 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great grandchildren, and a sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Angie Stanaland, a daughter-in-law, and brothers and sisters, Dean Key, Buck Tinsley, Catherine Harrison, Bobby Tinsley, Geraldine Taylor and Winfred Tinsley. The family will receive friends at the church a hour prior to the service.
