Kenneth Leroy Lee was called home by our Lord on July 22, 2005. He went peacefully following a short illness with his family by his side. Ken was a lifelong area resident who was now residing in Hesperia and worked in Barstow as a supervisor for the BNSF Railway for 38 years. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved by all who knew him and will be painfully missed. He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Lee; father, Roy Lee; brother, Billy Lee; and father-in-law, Jeff Hooper. He is survived by his wife; Debra; daughter, Julie; grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary and Michaela; mother, Edna Lee; and brother, Mike Lee. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Margaret Hooper; sister-in-law, Lynda Hooper; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Susie) Hooper, Steven Hooper, Richard (Sherry) Hooper, Daniel (Kim) Hooper, Dennis (Michelle) Hooper, and Matthew (Trina) Hooper; sister-in-law, Renee Hooper; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 29, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at New Life Fellowship, 134 W. Main St. There will be a reception following at Rosita's Restaurant, 540 W. Main St.
