Amos lived in Crown Point, NY and went to Redford, Michigan to set up a lumber company. His family eventually joined him.
The lumber company was run by his sons. It is not known if it is still in existence.
Their children: William Carlos; Charlotte Caroline (my great3 grandmother); Elijah E.; Seymour Landon (never married); Orlando Oaks (went west 1850 for gold rush and died that year); Orphia; Emily Cordetta; Clinton Dewitt; Henry Clay; Mary Cornelia; and Alice.
Many thanks to Cheri 47094916 for her contributions and Regina for the transfer.
