Mackenzie "Mack" Alan Couser of Moore, Oklahoma, came into this world on October 7, 1996, born to his loving parents, Laura and Tommy Couser. On March 3, 2023, Mack passed away unexpectedly at the age of 26.

Known as a gentle giant, stealer of socks, and the best giver of hugs, Mack was friendly, outgoing, and hardworking, excelling at everything he did and making friends everywhere he went. From a young age, Mack loved sports and grew up playing football, baseball, and basketball. As a part of the Class of 2015, he attended Moore High School where he shined on the football team and of course, made tons of friends along the way. He went on to have a varied and rewarding career path that included gigs in plumbing, HVAC, Security, and bartending. Mack also spent time working as a volunteer Firefighter in Cookson, Oklahoma, a job he thoroughly loved.

Mack enjoyed being outdoors and had a great love for all things fishing and hunting. He never turned down a cold beer, and Mack spent much of his time lovingly restoring his grandpa's old truck, usually with the help of his brothers or a couple of friends. You could often find him hanging out at Mooney's or The Deck, or at home cooking out on the grill. Mack loved live music, especially country and rock, and he looked forward to attending Rocklahoma with his buddies every year. Most of all, Mack treasured any time he spent with his family and friends, and he loved playing with and spoiling his pup, Cooper. He was an adored brother, son and grandson, and a loyal friend to so many. Mack will be very deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, grandfather Willie Edwards, grandfather Frank Schlehuber, and grandfather Don Couser, and his stepmother, Diane Couser.

Mack is survived by his father, Tommy Couser (Darla), and his mother, Laura Couser (Jeff); his sister, Hailey Keese and husband Kadin, and brothers, Kolby Couser and wife Alyvia, and Brady Couser, as well as stepsister Carissa, and stepbrother Jordan; one niece, Peyton; his grandmothers, Nancy Schlehuber (Rick), and Bonnie Couser; his beloved dog and best friend, Cooper; two uncles, David Couser and wife Shelley, and Mark Craig and wife Annette, and one aunt, Anita Couser; several cousins including Stephanie (Christian), Dalton, Rikio, Brad (Jenni), Todd (Tressa), and Taylor (Dan); and many more loving family members and an army of friends.

Funeral services begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Oakcrest Church of Christ, located at 1111 SW 89th St. in Oklahoma City.
