Arthur E. Feldman spent most of his life in Meade County Kansas. Shortly before his death he went to Middlewater, TX to work. He had a reputation as being quite a hand with cattle. His death occurred near Middlewater. At the time he was out feeding cattle and oiling windmills. It is thought that his glove caught in the cogs of the mill. As he was try to get loose the platform gave way, and he fell to the ground. His obituary states, "He was a good boy and mighty well liked by everyone who knew him."
