Oran Lee Taylor, Jr. age 78, of Dodd City, TX passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, TX.

Oran Lee was born on September 19, 1944 in Honey Grove, TX to Oran Lee Taylor Sr. and Opal (Russell) Taylor. He married Neva Doris (Clement) Taylor on August 23, 1963 in Bonham, TX she preceded him in death on May 27, 2018. Oran worked for VPG as a shipping manager. He was a loving husband to his beloved wife Neva for almost 55 years, a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

Oran is survived by son, Alan Taylor; daughter, Twila Taylor, grandchildren, Daniel Hammonds, Heather Taylor, Nathan Smith and Kaitlyn Taylor; great grandchildren, Amie Strain, Emily Strain, and Michael Strain; and sister Carolyn Hoffman.

In addition to his wife Neva, he is preceded in death by his parents Oran and Opal Taylor.
