Funeral services for Mr. Hollis Cloy, Jr. will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez, MS. Rev. Kevin Campbell will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Saturday March 4, 2023, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM.
Mr. Cloy, 85, of Natchez, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Merit Health Natchez with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 10, 1937 in Meadville, MS, to Mr. Hollis Cloy, Sr. and Mrs. Irene Coleman Cloy.
Mr. Cloy served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that loved his family deeply.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Hollis and Irene Cloy; wife of 51 years, Florell F. Cloy; brothers, Linfield Cloy, Edgar Ray Cloy and infant, Thomas Glenn Cloy.
Survivors are his son, Timmy Cloy and wife, Jennifer of Natchez, MS; daughter, Tammy Bradford and husband, Jim of Natchez, MS; brothers, Creighton Cloy of Meadville, MS and Jesse Cloy of Vicksburg, MS; grandchildren, Amanda Baker and husband, Kyle of Prairieville, LA, Ryan Comer and wife, Ashley of Natchez, MS and Katie Cloy of Natchez, MS; great grandsons, Bodie Baker and Sky Baker.
Pallbearers are Ryan Comer, Jim Bradford, Nash Sanders, Michael Myers, Sky Baker and Kyle Baker.
He is also survived by his loving companions, Bama and Levi.
