Roosevelt Woods was born May 12, 1939, in Clarksville, Texas to Abe and Ida (Gaffney) Woods. In 1975, he and Bobbie Williams were united in marriage in Frederick, Oklahoma. Mrs. Woods passed away October 29, 2009. Roosevelt worked for Aviall for many years, later he served as a technician for Centra Leather Goods.
He was a member of the First Baptist Missionary Church where he served as Deacon. Roosevelt enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Ida Woods; his wife, Bobbie Woods; and several brothers and sisters.
