ROPP, Emma - Mrs. John Ropp, 86, of 184 Queen St. E., Wellesley, died Tuesday at the Milverton Nursing Home. Born in Ellice Township, Oct. 28, 1894, she was the former Emma Roes, a daughter of the late John Roes and former Mary Nafziger. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church.

Surviving are her husband, John of Wellesley; two sons, Emanuel, of RR 1, Wellesley, and Elmer of RR 1, Brunner; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Esther) Gerber, of Wellesley, Mrs. Milton (Clara) Roth, of Toronto, Mrs. Elmer (Adeline) Erb, of Millbank, and Mrs. Joseph (Barbara) Kennell, of Waterloo; two brothers, Noah, of Brunner, and Samuel, of Poole; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Annie) Gerber of 45 Buckingham Dr., Stratford; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Daniel, in 1963, and one brother.

Friends were received at the Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley until noon Friday when a funeral service was held at 1 pm at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. Bishop Arthur Gerber officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
