Funeral services for Audra Williams, 88, of Taneyville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Nov. 11, 2006, at the Bradleyville General Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Clemens officiating. Burial will follow in the Patterson Cemetery. Special music will be provided by the Bradleyville General Baptist Church Choir. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home Chapel.
She died Nov. 4, 2006, in Liberty Terrance Nursing and Care Center, in Liberty.
She was born in Protem, the daughter of Jasper and Candice Hankins. She graduated high school in Taney county and went to Indiana University to earn her associates degree in teaching. She married Paul Williams in 1940 and went on to teach in the local schools in the county. Audra worked for the Branson Inn as head housekeeper and retired in 2002 after 30 years of service. She has been living in Liberty, Missouri for the last four years. She was a member of the Bradleyville General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by both parents; husband Paul Williams; two brothers, Jess and Joe Hankins; and two sisters, Elsie McDowell and Rhoda Thurman.
Survivors include two sons; Jerry Williams, and wife, Sharon, of Savannah, and Doug Williams, of Taneyville; daughter, Carolyn Sue Musso, and husband, Anthony, of Kansas City; three sisters, Velma Hankins, Jean Robinson, both of Bradleyville, and Christina Hankins, of Kansas City; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society in honor of Audra Williams.
