Wayne, as he was lovingly known, worked as a saw man in the pulpwood industry for many years. He enjoyed baseball and his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. Most of all, Wayne loved his family, and they will greatly miss him.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Dunford and Janie Cole; siblings, Ester Cole, Charlie Cole, Roger Cole, Vester Cole, Curtis Cole, Delia Cole, James Cole, and Leonard Cole; and niece, Tiffany Jordan.
A graveside service will be held for Wayne at 10am Monday, March 06, 2023, at Byrd Cemetery with Rev. Dunford Cole officiating.
