After an illness of one year Miss Hannah Margaret Larue died on January 31st, 1919, her seventy-fourth birthday, at the home of her brother-in-law, Lewis Larue, at Greenville, Monroe county. She was a daughter of the late Cyrus S and Julia Larue, of the vicinty of Lewisburg. She leaves the following brothers: Scott Larue, of Iowa City, Iowa; Dr Jas A Larue, of Pulaski, Tenn; William Larue, of Princeton, W Va. Sisters: Mrs R E Hanna, of Esty, W Va; Mrs G R Alexander and Miss Susie Larue, of Ronceverte.
She had been a member of the Presbyterian church since her youth. She was laid to repose in the family burying ground near Greenville, Monroe county.
"Miss Hun," as she was affectionately called by her friends, was a charming old lady, always cheerful, the years having failed to rob her of her girlish spirit and optimism.
