A native of Robertson county and a resident of Nicholas county, he was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Blue Licks.
He is survived by his wife, Daisey Herrington; three sons, William and Bobby Herrington, Nicholas county; Woodrow Herrington, Ocala, Fla.; five daughters, Mrs. James West, Frankfort; Mrs. Lorine Brunson, Anderson, Ind.; Mrs. Margaret Mitchell, Falmouth; Miss Vella Marie Herrington, Miss Rebecca Louise Herrington, at home; one brother, Andrew Herrington, Harrison county; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wallace, Bourbon county; Mrs. Lucy Buchanan, Dover; 31 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the Blue Lick Assembly of God Church by Sister Gentizer. Burial in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Grandsons serves as pallbearers.
