J T Hutchins Is Taken By Death at 68

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM on Saturday.

John T. Hutchins, 68, of 106 Criddle, died at 10:45 PM Thursday, at Waxahachie Sanitarium after a brief illness. He had resided in Waxahachie nine years, moving here from Maypearl. He was born Dec 28, 1877 in Commanche County, Texas. Mr. Hutchins had been a member of the Church of Christ since childhood. He was engaged in the trucking business.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Willie Hutchins, home address; 4 sons, J.T., Leroy, Olin, and Riley Hutchins, all of Waxahachie; 5 daughters, Mrs. Hazle Robinson, Mrs. Willie B Pitts, Misses Wanda Jo, Dora Dean and Mary Helen Hutchins, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Ethel Hunter, all of Waxahachie; 2 brothers, C.D. Hutchins, Fort Worth; Roy Hutchins, Maypearl; and one sister, Mrs. Claudine Gann of Maypearl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday at Rudolph Funeral Chapel with Minister Foster Ramsey of the College Street Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.
