Patricia Ann (Joines) Wasson was born April 5, 1937, in Annapolis, Maryland to parents Gussie Lou and Tam Joines. Pat lost her battle with cancer on Sunday February 19, 2023. Pat combatted her declining health with an unwavering spirit and soul that cherished every day given to her.
Patricia was raised in Annapolis, Maryland and attended Washington College where she met her husband, Warren Wasson. She had three children and lived in Maryland, California, and New York before settling down in Texas in 1973. As a career, Patricia worked diligently as a successful realtor for many years, and later owned and managed a chain of pet stores.
Patricia will forever be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her kind soul, and her ability to talk to anyone! Her life's greatest passions were traveling the world and experiencing new things. Fearlessly devoted to her children and grandchildren, her heart was full of endless love.
Patricia was survived by her children Barry Wasson and Laura Edenstrom, her son-in-law Evan Edenstrom, her daughter-in-law Lisa Wasson, and her grandchildren Collin and Alec Smith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Warren Arthur Wasson, her son Warren Tam Wasson, and her brother James Tam Joines.
The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to service at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Allen Family Funeral Options. There will be a memorial service held at 10:00 a.m. immediately following the visitation with Rev Christopher Vaughan officiating.
