Services for Columbus Beuron Adcock, 78, of 635 Conger Road, Anniston, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Courts of Praise Christian Center in LaGrange, Ga., with the [Rev.] Steve Wyatt and the Rev. Alex Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at Shadowlong [sic Shadowlawn] Cemetery with Claude A. McKibbon and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, Ga., in charge. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home where the body will be until 30 minutes before services.

Mr. Adcock died Friday at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include three brothers, Dewey Adcock, James Anderson and Vernon Anderson, all of LaGrange; five sisters, Mrs. Eunice Swicegood of Newnan, Ga., Mrs. Beulah Anderson and Mrs. Willie Mae Duke, both of LaGrange, Mrs. Elizabeth Harlin of West Point, Ga., and Mrs. Rosa Lee Veal of Douglasville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be deacons of Court of Praise Christian Center.

Mr. Adcock was a native of Randolph County, who lived in LaGrange for 25 years before moving to Anniston in 1985. He was a retired merchant and a member of te Courts of Praise Christian Center.
