Ida 'Punk' Allison, 65
Newell - Ida 'Punk' Allison, 65, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, at City Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in East Liverpool July 27, 1934, a daughter of the, late Dory and Lena Cunningham Coplin. A homemaker, she attended Newell United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Allison, whom she married in 1956, a son, Clarence 'Corky' Allison II of Canfield; a sister, Marilyn McGill of Mannington, W. Va.; two brothers, A. E. Pete Coplin of East Liverpool and Larry 'Ed' Coplin of Newell and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Cline. Pastor Warren Dove and Rev. Charles Parry will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens of Newell. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
