Donald R. Youmans, age 91, of Pine City, New York left this earth on his heavenly journey to join loved ones on Friday, February 24, 2023.
He was born February 6, 1932, in Corning, New York to George R. and Lottie (Wood) Youmans.
He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, during the Korean War. He retired from Corning Incorporate.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Carol A. Youmans of Pine City, NY; his children, Marie (John) Law of Mass., Donald (Denise) Youmans Jr. of Addison, Russell (Robyn) Youmans of Mass., stepchildren; Randy (Michelle) Blake, Penny (Jack) Scranton, Audrey (Mark) Voorhees, Andrew (Melissa) Blake all of Pine City, Sharon Perrigo of Elmira, Frank (Marybeth) of GA, Betsy Blake and Peggy (Joe) Horton of Florida, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren which he cherished, sisters; Charlotte Estep of Corning and Laura Link or Horseheads, predeceased by sisters; Joyce (Sam) Share, Cora Youmans, brothers; John and Clifford Youmans, and brother-in-law William Estep all of Corning.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Acly-Stover Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Barner and his granddaughter Crystal Watts officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY with Military Honors.
