William's burial place is unproven at this time. His two wives are buried in Bethal aka Ten Mile Cemetery, so I am placing his memorial there until I prove otherwise. He is enumerated on the 1850, 1860, & 1870 US Census with 1st wife Susannah Kauke Norris (married 1834) and on the 1880 US Census with 2nd wife Catherine Lehman Drudge-Smith-Norris (married 1874).

His Wood County Estate probate record # WC 1231 was obtained; it provided his date of death and the names of 14 heirs including his 2nd wife Catherine; Iva Dell Reaker was named as a granddaughter as well as daughter Margaret's two daughters with Eli Twining. Since Margaret had died before her father, her 3 daughters inherited her share of William's estate. William's daughter Mary married Amos Twining, brother of her sister Margaret's husband Eli Twining. William's only child with his 2nd wife, daughter Charity, was just 5 years of age when her father died.
