The Halifax 'Herald' states that about daylight on Saturday morn., the house owned and occupied by James McELMON of Londonderry, situated near the Folleigh River Bridge, was destroyed by fire and Mr. McELMON perished in the flames. The other inmates of the house consisted of his mother, who is 102 years of age and his wife, aged 79. Mr. McE. was over 70 years of age.
