Estel Bolding, formerly of Bartlett, passed away at the family residence in Golliad on Oct. 7 after an immediate illness of two months, having been in falling health for a number of years.

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Bolding of Bartlett, he was born in 1889 on the farm homestead of his parents in the Ake School House Community southwest of Bartlett, moving to town with his parents about 1903.

He graduated from the Bartlett High School and was an employee of the T. Denson Lumberyard: a member of the Methodist Church and a social farorite
among his many friends.

He married Miss Grace Slawson of Bartlett and remained here several years, later moving with his brother to a ranch near Lampasas, thence to Gollaid where he was manager of a lumber yard until his health failed.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Goliad Methodist church by his pastor and concluded where interment was made.

Survivors are his wife: one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Barrington of Goliad: three sons, Harold Dean of Corpus Christi, John, of Hamiln, and Joe of Goliad: a grandaughter, Grace Alice Barrington: one sister, Mrs. L. R. Sparks of Lampasas: three brothers, Ed and Frank of Copperas Cove, and Oscar of Lampasas: and a nephew Rosco Bolding of Lampasas all of whom attended the last rites.

The youngest son, Larry preceded him in death.

A large crowd of Bartlett friends and relatives attended the burial.

Out of town people present were Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Bolding, Mrs. J. D. Slawson, Mr. and Mrs. Luther of Austin: Mrs. Arther Ake of Taylor: Henry Whitlow of Belton: and Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Bolding of Temple.
