Mrs. Myers was the owner of Burmeister Grocery in Jacksonville for many years, a member of The Womens Club in Jacksonville, the American Legion Auxiliary, Bunko Club, Central Christian Church since 1928, and she enjoyed card parties, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Freida is survived by one sister Mary Ethel Frost of Winchester, one nephew Gary Frost (companion Brenda Pond) of Meredosia, one neice Sherry (husband Lawrence) Coultas of Winchester, and several great nieces and nephews.
Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
