Brian proudly served in the US Navy from February 1968 to October 1987 retiring as a Senior Chief Machinist Mate, MMCS(SW). After retiring from the Navy, he worked for Building Technology Engineers and EMCOR Services as Project Manager. He was a huge Red Sox fan and avid golfer. Brian loved traveling and wintering with his wife, Mary, at their home in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Brian is survived by his devoted wife, Mary (Savage). Loving father of Shawn Callahan of Fall River and Dawn Bahl and her husband John of Bristol, RI. Dear brother of Lynn Doyle and her husband Bob of Londonderry, NH, Dennis Callahan and his wife Maureen of Stoneham, Lee Callahan of Lynn, Jack and his wife Sandy of Wakefield, Tim Callahan of FL, Kevin Callahan of Everett and the late Robbie Callahan. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Nicholas Callahan, and Uncle to several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Visiting hours in Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte 14 & 58, Hanson, Thursday, February 23rd from 4pm to 7pm. A Funeral Home service will be held on Friday, February 24th at 11am followed by burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30pm.
