Ruth Elaine "Ruthie" Tauscher Dahl 1934-2022
Ruth "Ruthie" Elaine Dahl, 88, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was born June 2, 1934, in Green Bay to Louis and Delia "Dora Mina" (Brei) Tauscher. Ruthie graduated from Santa Cruise High School. On October 2, 1964, she married Oscar Dahl at Grace Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2010. Ruthie enjoyed spending her summers at Schomers Dock, Sturgeon Bay, and Sawyer Harbor. She loved to go antiquing throughout Door County and collect purple slag glass. She spent time gardening, making fudge and bulbs for her tree at Christmas. Ruthie had a sharp mind and kept it right up to the very end. She is survived by her son, Michael (Lisa) Dahl; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruthie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Oscar; parents, Delia and Louis; siblings, Chuck (Dorothy) Tauscher, Lewis (Jane) Tauscher, Doris (Stand) Parks, Mary (George) Sharp.
