Johnny Elvin Jones, 70, of Kinston went to his Heavenly home Monday, April 4, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville surrounded by his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Pearlie Jones; brothers, Jessie Lee Jones, Ottis "Buddy" Jones, and Willard Jones.
Left to cherish his memory is his significant other, Jessie Hawkins; two daughters; a son; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister; a brother; and eight nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Trenton City Cemetery.
