DEATHS AND FUNERALS
Mrs. Jennie Nichols passed quietly away at her residence, 1835 Albee street, shortly after on o'clock yesterday afternoon in the presence of the immediate family, except one son who is in Garnett, Kan. Her death was caused by pneumonia, she being ill but about six days. Mrs. Nichols had nearly reached the age of 70 years. She was a native of New York but had lived here for the past fourteen years and had acquired a large circle of friends who mourn her loss. She leaves her husband, Harvey N. Nichols and one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Bertha A. Dunning. Clarence W. and George M. of Eureka and Frank M. of Garnett, Kansas. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2:40 o'clock, from the Baptist church. Interment at Ocean View cemetery.
