William Bruce Moseley, 82, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home in Bryceville, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Moseley was a native of Jacksonville and a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, C/O 1958 and Florida Community College of Jacksonville. He retired from JEA after 35 years working as a substation supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.
Mr. Moseley was a Retired Veteran of the US Army and Florida National Guard, serving 26 years to include during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
He is survived by his wife: Lynda Moseley; 2 children: Joe Moseley (Chrissy) and Margaret Howell (Todd); 2 sisters: Linda Knowles (Sid) and Diane Maybury; brother: Dick Moseley; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, 124 W. Ashley Street, with Pastor Steve Clifton and Reverend Terry Yerby officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane #1) with Military Honors. Peeples Family Funeral Home is serving the Moseley Family.
