Marilyn Kerr, age 86 of Findlay, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 17th, 2023.

Born Marilyn Jean Frances Elder on December 8th, 1936 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of Hugh and Frances (Laskey) Elder. She married Doug Kerr on May 3rd, 1958 at Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal and together they enjoyed 64 years of marriage.

She is survived by her four sons; Doug (Cathy), Greenville, S.C., Ken (Missy) Cincinnati, Ron (Kathy) Columbus, and Andy (Angie) Cincinnati; her eight grandchildren; Eric of Cincinnati, Ian (Bethany) and Teddy (Mary-Kaye) of Cincinnati, Spencer of Chicago, Katie of Louisville, Libby of Chicago, Alex and Sam of Cincinnati and a sister, Heather Dufour in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Marilyn had lived in Findlay since 1965 and during that time contributed many hours of service to others in the community. As a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church she was a Communion Distributor, served on the School Board and was part of the Bereavement Ministry. She also gave many years of service to the Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary, served on the Board and was President for three years. She was a Hospice volunteer after she had worked for them as a Social Worker. She was a life member of the United States Sail & Power Squadrons, Meridian Club, Marathon Bridge League, Bridge-A-Round and the Duplicate Bridge Group at the Findlay Country Club.

Above all, Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and devoted friend. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially their many years boating on Lake Erie and in later years vacations at Norris Lake.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at Kirkpatrick & Behnke Funeral Home, 500 lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 750 Bright Road, with Msgr. Michael Hohenbrink officiating. Marilyn will be buried at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Church, 750 Bright Road; Bridge Home Health & Hospice 15100 Birchaven Lane; both of Findlay, Ohio 45840, or a charity of your choice.
