Husband of Calista Lumbard. They married sometime before 1850. They had Charles A; William J; Hellen M; James Henry and Frank Augustus Lumbard (Lombard). After the death of Calista in 1871, William remarried in Monrovia to Minerva Mack, possibly the widow of Daniel S. Mack in Nov 1876. She died July 24, 1897 in Peruville, and is buried in the Peruville Cemetery. Her heastone is engraved with 1899.

OBITUARY
William Lumbard, who died Friday, was the father of William J. Lumbard, late of Dryden. He was formerly a resident of Peruville but had lived with his son, Frank Lumbard, at Cortland during the past five years.

The funeral was held Monday at the Methodist church at Peruville,Rev. C. L. Myers officiating, and burial was made in the Peruville cemetery.

He leaves two sons, Frank and Charles Lumbard, both of Cortland.

Mr. Lumbard also leaves two brothers and one sister, Daniel Lumbard, of Ludlowville; James Lumbard, of Washington District; and Mrs. Harriett Ralph, of McGrawville.
