She was born in Caldwell County on September 22, 1918 to the late William Icard and Esco Exie Annas.
She was also preceded by her husband, Willard "Bill" Cloer; three sisters, Gertie Icard, Prestus Icard and Vallie Hass; and two brothers, Arvil Icard and Elgie Icard.
She was a member of the Hudson First Baptist Church for over 70 years and active in the training union. She also worked in housekeeping at the Hudson Elementary School.
Surviving are son, Kylen Bascum (Patsy) Cloer; daughter, Frances Nadeen (Lee) Shrewsberry; five grandchildren, Terri (Taylor) Payne, Leslie Baggatta, Bobby Cloer, Greg Cloer and Lisa Cobble; 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Aggie (Ray) Woods and Willie Hickman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in the Chapel of Pendry's Funeral Home.
