Gary "Meanboy" Lewellen (73) passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home in Jumpertown. He was born at his parents' home at Chapman, near Ripley, MS. He attended Chapman Church of Christ and was a member of Sandhill Hunting Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, being outside, listening to his dogs run and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Chris Lewellen (Dara), Justin Lewellen (Wendy) and Brandon Lewellen, all of Jumpertown; his sisters, Judith Windham of Colorado and Cheryl Holliday of Ripley; his grandchildren, Carissa, Jay, Hunter and Michael; his great-grandchildren, Blakely and Loxlee and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Presley and Annie Lois Heavener Lewellen and his brothers-in-law, Dee Jr. Holliday and Herchel Windham.
