Mrs.Charles Vaden Freels, 28-year-old mother of eight children, died Sunday of cancer at Harriman (TN) Hospital at 7: p.m. Mrs. Freels, the former Mary Frances Malenovsky, gave birth to a son two weeks ago. She is survived by her husband, Charles Vaden Freels, parents, Mr.and Mrs.Antone Malenovsky; two daughters, Amanda Lou and Amelia Faye Freels; six sons, Charles Randall, James Burton, Roger Craig, Guy Freeman, Stewart Kendall and Darrell Francis Freels,all of Harriman; four sisters, Mrs. Cecilia Rich, Sunbright; Mrs. Julia Seymour, Atlanta, Georgia; Sister Mary Julia, Nashville; Miss Mary Helen Malenovsky, Harriman; four brothers, Anthony, Bernard and Edward Malenovsky of Harriman; and Carl Malenovsky, U.S. Army in Korea. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Maxwell funeral parlor with the Rev. John Scola and the Rev. Jack Parrott officiating. Burial was in Palko Cemetery, Emory.
