Mrs. Sadie Allen, 59, died at her home in St. Thomas Friday after a long illness. She was born in Kitchener in 1893, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Hertfelder. She moved to St. Thomas 40 years ago. Mrs. Allen was a member of the St. Thomas Salvation Army. She is survived by her husband, Harry Allen, Sr.; three sons, Harry, Jr., George and Kenneth, all of St. Thomas; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Bernice) Chambers, St. Thomas; Mrs. Ernest (Jane) Pope, Hamilton. Also four sisters, Mrs. Edward Feast, Mrs. Alex Wilson, Mrs. Charles Simpson, all of Kitchener, Mrs. Ted Vincent, Hamilton; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the L.B. Sifton Funeral Home, St. Thomas. Maj. Gordon Barfoot of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be in Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas
