Don W. Neal, 58, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at his home after a long illness. He was born August 11, 1949 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a General Contractor for over 30 years and served as a board member of the AGC.
He was a member of River Hills Baptist Church and was also a member of the Gideons.
He is preceded in death by a son, Adam Wayne Neal; his paternal grandparents, C. B. and Flora Frances Neal of Gainesville; his maternal grandparents, Wayne R. and Pearlie Irene Stanley of Gainesville.
He is survived by his wife, Leah Ann Neal of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughters, Trisha Kaye (Craig) Erndt of Alvin, Texas and Summer (Jason) Oswald of Allen, Texas; his parents, Don L. and Charleen Neal of Alice, Texas; his brother, Steve (Jackie) Neal of Falfurrias, Texas; his grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Erndt, Cole Adam Erndt and Baby Girl Oswald; and his cats, Sweet Baby and Danci.
Visitation held Feb. 28 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted on Feb. 29 at River Hills Baptist Church. Burial followed at Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers - Jason Oswald, Craig Erndt, Steve Neal, Terry McNatt, Jim Wofford, Fred Wollman, Jeff Cotham and Philip Cotham.
