Mr. John Chatwell Andrews, age 91 of Jonesboro passed away February 15, 2023. John served in the Navy during the Korean War, acquired a law degree and went into private business in Clayton County, Georgia. John loved fishing, traveling and spending time at his home in North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patsy H. Andrews and his four children: Carla Andrews and husband Gregg Trance of Jonesboro; Drew (Debbie) Andrews of McDonough; Sheree Andrews of Daytona Beach, Fl; John Chatwell Andrews Jr. (Martha) of Orlando, Fl. Grandchildren; Jonathon Andrews, Tina Turpin, Bo Andrews, Josh Andrews, Meredith (Phil) Goss, John C. Andrews III (Brianne), Jessica Andrews. Great Grandchildren; Sadie Jo Goss, Vannah Goss, Benjamin Andrews, McKenzie Andrews, Olivia Andrews, Sean Chatwell Andrews, Tristian Hahn, Haley Turpin, Rachel Turpin, Logan Turpin. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews and friends and his Sister; Jo Sumner of Covington. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 Am Monday, February 20, 2023 at the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:30 Am prior to the service. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.
