Del Ray Stacy passed away on February 3rd, 2023 at the age of 92 and is now with Jesus ... his Lord and Savior. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, grandfather, great grandfather, loyal friend, and successful business executive.

Del was born on November 22, 1930, to Walter Ray Stacy and Carrie Jane Grant Stacy in Trickham, Texas. After graduating from Santa Anna High School in 1949, he went on to study at Daniel Baker College before joining the Air Force in 1950. After leaving the Air Force, he graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1957.

In 1953, at the age of 23, Del met the love of his life, Patsy Hammonds. They married soon after and spent their entire lives together. Del and Pat have been blessed with 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren ... so far.

They had a very active life together, moving frequently around the country following Del's many corporate promotions and entrepreneurial interests. Del's professional pursuits ranged from the president of manufacturing plants to running his ranch and owning and operating a trucking company and their commercial property in Southern California. Although he had many successful business endeavors, none compared to his amazing partnership with his wife, Pat Stacy. They raised their children and built their businesses in true partnership, and their love was instilled in everything they did. When not working, Del enjoyed family time, both with his children and his extended family, playing cards and golf with his many friends.

Del was predeceased by his father, Walter Ray Stacy and his mother Carrie Jane Grant Stacy, as well as his three siblings: Marjorie Sullivan, Owen Tom Stacy, and Tavy Marie Heidbrier.

Del is survived by his wife Pat Stacy, his daughter and her husband Charm and. Jim Bode, his son and wife Tommy and Donna Stacy, and his son and wife David and Kathi Stacy. He's also survived by his grandchildren Matthew, Lauren, Joseph, Alexandra, William and Madison, and his great grandchildren Aiden, Isabelle, Lily, Lila, Archer, Duncan, Grayson, Easton and Evelyn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will take place on March 25th at Trickham, Texas. In-lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or your favorite charity.
