She was born Jan. 22, 1913, in Cato, Wis., to the late William and Leona (Jerovitz) Lannbrecht. Erna married Herman Z Belter on Oct. 26, 1946, at St. John and St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1981.
Erna and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Luxemburg until Herman's death.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Luxemburg.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Fred and Karen Belter, Luxemburg; five grandchildren: Michael, Jeremy, Brad, Nicole and Andrew Belter; one brother, two sisters-in-law: Edgar and Alta Lannbrecht, Cato; Elda Lannbrecht, Luxemburg; one brother- in-law: Rueben Duescher, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother Edwin Lannbrecht; two sisters: Ruth Duescher and Ella Tuschel; one brother-in-law: Egan Tuschel.
Friends may call at the McMahon Funeral Home, 530 Main St., Luxemburg from 4 to 9 p.m. today ; and after 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montpelier. Burial in the church cemetery.
