Donald Eugene Lough, 83, of Hagans, WV, passed away on Thursday February, 16, 2023 at his residence in the presence of his family singing him into Heaven. Eugene was born May, 6, 1939, in Fairview, a son of the late Thomas Lough and Ellen Marie Brewer Lough.

Eugene was a member of Arnettsville Methodist Church. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1957. Eugene worked at Grantown mines for 21 years, Walko for 10 years, and was also on the Marion County school board for 10 years. Eugene also proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.

Eugene is survived by his wife of 57 Years, Virginia Lou Michael Lough. He is also survived by a daughter Kimberly M. Seay(Michael) of Morgantown; son Donald Kevin Lough of Rivesville; grandchildren Kelsey Seay, Mikayla Butcho(Justin), Keegan Seay, Kaleb Lough, and Kolbe Lough; great-grandson Matthew Butcho; sisters Edna Toothman and Rose Harris; and a brother Jesse Lough(Phyllis).

In addition to his parents Eugene is preceded in death by sisters Pauline Lough and Lois Lough; and brothers Bernell, Virgil, Delmar, Harold, and Leroy Lough.
