Frederick E. Hartman, 83, of New Kensington, died Wednesday February 15, 2023 with his family by his side in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.

He was born in Renova, PA on Marchc 4, 1939 to the late Fred E. Hartman and Louisa V. Zoschg Hartman and was been a resident of New Kensington for the past 53 years after moving from Plum Boro.

Mr. Hartman worked as director of materials management for Allegheny Valley and Allegheny General Hospitals until retiring in 2001. He was a Navy Corpman and member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus. His family was everything to him and he loved spending time with his family above all else. His amazing sense of humor will truly be missed. He was an avid sports fans especially baseball. He coached little league for 15 years and also enjoyed watching college and professional football.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Jeanne Biddle Hartman, three children Thomas (Heather) Hartman, Susan (Curt) Britton and Daniel (Donita) Hartman, grandchildren Jeremy Glavanics, Benjamin Britton, Christian Hartman, Gabrielle Britton, Leah Hartman and Rachel Hartman, sisters Louise (Larry) Shane and Rose Ann (Bob) Abriatis.
