KAREN KERTRINA BURNS, 55, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born November 6, 1967, in South Williamson, Ky., a daughter of the late Billie and Agnes Dillon. Also preceding her in death were her husbands, Robert Lewis and Kurt Burns; one sister, Ladonia Carpenter; and two brothers, James Dillon and Paul Dillon.
Survivors include her sister, Sharon (Jimmy) Fletcher of Lavalette; one brother, Billy Dillon, with whom she made her home; niece Whitney (Andy) Taylor of Huntington, W.Va.; nephew Jamison (Tasha) Fletcher of Lavalette; special great nephew and great niece, Aden and Mary Fletcher, both of Lavalette; as well as a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Wayman officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery Annex. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.
