Joyce M. Woodard, age 77, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She was born in White House, Tennessee, on March 5, 1945, to Jewell Elvis Callis and Ida Mae (Sharp) Callis. She worked as a machine operator making oven racks for Feldkircher Wire Fabricating Company. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Ida Callis; husband, Willie Andrew Woodard, Sr.; brothers, Wayne McQuiston, Clarence Callis, and Jimmy Callis; and sisters, Helen Groves and Dianne Hill. She is survived by her sons, Willie Woodard, Jr. and Steven Woodard (Erin); daughter, Tonia Carpenter (Norman); sisters, Faye Huckaby (Randy) and Betty Rehak; grandchildren, Candice Cheek, Matthew Coleman, Alex McFarland (Patrick), and Julia Woodard; and great grandchildren, Tyler Monroe, Finnley McFarland, Juniper McFarland, and Amara Coleman. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10am until the hour of service at 12noon.
