Mr. and Mrs. C. Peterson have the deep sympathy of the entire community in the loss of their son, Martin C. Peterson, who passed away Sunday night after an illness of a week from pneumonia. The deceased was a popular young man and the large attendance at his funeral was a testimonial of the esteem in which he was held by his associates as well as a comfort to his stricken parents and brothers and sister.
Martin Peterson was a native of Iowa, aged 25 years and 8 months. He came to Redwood With his parents fifteen years ago and has resided here until his death.
The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational Church, impressive services being held by Rev. Mr. Maar. The burial took place ¡n Union Cemetery. The body was escorted to the grave by members of the Fire Department, the Ancient Order of Foresters and the Tanners Union.
At a meeting of the Tanners Union Monday night the following resolutions were adopted in Memory of the deceased 'Martin Christian Peterson'.
The family are deeply thankful for the attention shown them during their trouble and desire to return thanks to all.
