Yolanda Joyce Maestas, 39, a lifetime Barstow resident, died in Barstow on Wednesday, March 29, 2000. Born in Barstow on Dec. 18, 1960, Maestas was a member of the First Baptist Church and TOPS. She was a cook at the Amigos Cafe for five years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Predicanda Fernandez-Maestas and niece, Nicole Hadley. Survivors include her parents, Lionor and Bercy Maestas of Holman, N.M.; her son, Ernest Lee Maestas of Holman, N.M.; four sisters, Irene D. Nunez, Anna and John Saiz, and Barbara and Randy Rose, all of Barstow, and Josephine and Guy Rosbough of Albany, Ga.; her brother, Frank and Connie Maestas of Costa Mesa; nephews Christopher Rosbough, John Saiz Jr., Alex Saiz, Austin Maestas, Michael Rose, Kenny Link, Robert Romero, Patrick Romero, Robert Link, and Jason Romero; nieces, Amy Saiz, Amanda Jaramillo, Candace Maestas, Gina Link, Jessica Link, and Jill Link; two stepsisters, Vickie and Mack Herrera and four sons, of Arizona, and Veronica Pacheco and five daughters of New Mexico; two stepbrothers, Vincent and Julie and three children and Lee Pacheco, all of New Mexico.
