MAYSFIELD (SPL) — Roy Newton, 80, of Maysfield died Thursday morning in a Cameron hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Presbyterian Church in Cameron with Rev. Ernest Helsley, Rev, Stanley Bodicka and Rev. James W. Mosely officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Newton was born June 16, 1895 in Maysfield. He was lifelong resident of Maysfield where he farmed. He was a member of Maysfield Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife. son, Bob Newton of Austin; sister, Mrs. E. C. Mosely of Batesville, Ark.: four grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren.
