MARKS - Houston Carl Jones, 94, farmer and nurseryman, died of heart failure Friday at Quitman County Hospital. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Belen Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Marks United Methodist Church. Mr. Jones, the widower of Mary Ellis Jones, leaves a daughter, Andrea Hobgood of Yazoo City; a son, Houston Carl Jones Jr. of Glenwood, Ark.; a sister, Lucille Watkins of Marks, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Marks United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army.
