Virginia Sipma, 93, of Lincoln, formerly of Ceresco, died Nov. 27 in Lincoln.
Simpa was born Sept. 1, 1919, to Richard and Nellie (Watson) DeWaay in Primghar, Iowa.
She was a member of Ceresco United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Milton Sipma; her parents; and six brothers.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Dale Hammell of Vancouver, British Columbia, Barbara Webel of Lincoln, Cynthia and Donald Newsham of Ceresco; son and daughter-in-law, John Brian and Ann Sipma of Des Moines, Iowa; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond Claire and Carol DeWaay of Santa Barbara, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Charles Ganger of Cherokee, Iowa.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Ceresco United Methodist Church, 421 South Second Street in Ceresco.
There is no visitation.
