"Vesta Vaine (House) Adams, 92, of Houston, Texas, passed away August 26, 2017. She was born on December 4, 1924 in Belott, Texas, to Roger House and Florence (McRee) House. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Robert Adams; her grandchildren, Nicole Elizabeth Adams, Mathew Adams Westcott, and Dakota Benay Adams; and her siblings, Roger Ray House, Rankin House, Julius House, Robert House, Seth House and Mozzelle Preston. Vesta is survived by her children, Christopher Adams and wife Fern, David B. Adams and wife Sarah, Dr. Janet Adams-Westcott and husband Bill, Raymond L. Adams, and Terry L. Bartlett and husband John Michael; grandchildren, Desiree Adams-Sinnotte and husband Liam, Dara Adams-Ulmer and husband Gordon, Sara A. Reeder and husband Joshua, Marc Westcott, and Dylan Bartlett; and great-grandchildren, Mia Nicole Reeder and Zahari Wolf Ulmer. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Addison Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Evans Chapel United Methodist Church at 4133 FM 977-W in Leona, Texas. Burial to follow in Evans Chapel Cemetery."
