Mrs. Garer died Sunday in a local hospital.
She was a native ot Arkansas and came to California 14 years ago. She had resided in South Gate for the past three years. She was a member of the Firestone Assembly of God church
Survivors include her husband, John W. Garner of South Gate; two sons, Robert W. Garner of Manhattan Beach and Roy Garner of Downey; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Madden, Mrs. Muriel Martin, Mrs. Nettie Chambers, Mrs. May Martin and Mrs. Katie Russell, all of Arkansas; two brothers, Ruel Haney of Arkansas and J. W. Haney of Tulsa, Okla.; and four grandchildren.
